Yep, we’ve gone a bit crazy with all that dusting and hoovering, and now we’re selling some awesome products off for up to 50% off, what better time to update your jewellery box?
Products in the sale include our Mega Monkey Necklace from our Spring 2013 collection, along with his little green counterpart. We’re also reducing some of our eye-catching moth and butterfly necklaces which have been featured in the EDP, Norwich Fashion Paper and plenty of online blogs.
We hope you’ll find something you’ll really love, sale ends when it’s all gone (which we’re guessing won’t be long!)
We’ve been very busy making flower necklaces and brooches the last week, these neon flowers are made with digital prints layered onto sustainable birch wood. We just love how the colours pop! Holes can be lasered into each piece so they can be attached together with junp rings to create stunning necklaces with real flower power.
For something simple and sweet, we add a brooch back so you can pin a single posy to your spring jacket!
We’ll be working on a range of bracelets and rings too, so you can adorn yourself in these pretty blossoms. Our neon flower range will be available in May, so keep your eyes peeled for our launch!
Lately, we’ve been working alongside Peer Art Group, a bunch of artists in Norwich who all have “proper” jobs. The group is a great catalyst for any artist though. Having left university in June 2011, I hadn’t really made much artwork; as such, I was glad to find a group of like-minded people who I could bounce ideas off!
Our first exhibition was at STEW Gallery, which also has its own artist studios and printing rooms. The criteria was simple; we could submit as many pieces of work we wanted, and it could be any medium. I submitted an old piece of work based on Ovid’s Metamorphosis alongside the range of jewelry I’ve been making as PinPinFinds. It was nice to see my jewelry considered “art”, and I don’t think that’s such a strange concept – fashion can certainly be considered art.
After a long day curating, it was good to see everyone chilling out and enjoying the work. Someone had even brought a guitar, so I did what any sensible person would do – played a guitar with my hands and a tambourine with my feet!
Well, we finally got round to launching our Autumn Collection- a mystical mix of laser cut moths, holographic crystal eyes and magicians props! And it’s going to be PinPinFinds’ 1st birthday on September 25th- we can’t wait! Here’s a mythical world of photos for you to step into.
Our new Moth and Butterfly Necklaces will be £12.00 each, and we hope that Arts Desire in Norwich will be stocking them for us. You can always buy them from our website pinpinfinds.storenvy.com too for $20.00!
All will be available to buy in the next couple of weeks, but if you really can’t wait that long how about pre-ordering them? Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me what you’d like!
On another note, we have another Makers Market coming up! We are just so excited!
Facebook event here: http://www.facebook.com/events/482537128440650/
Will hopefully have a poster up soon!
Thankyou to Emily Jane Morgan(photography), Pearl & Swine (headdresses and masks), GoldFinches Vintage (clothing), Pip Cross & Panayis Yiasimi (models) and Suzie Townsend (make-up artist).
I absolutely adorable loud, brash, blingy jewellery that will catch your eye and your imagination too. Lately I’ve been searching for some totally tropical finds because, let’s face it, the UK is more like a tropical rain forest at the moment instead of the glorious sunny island it used to be, so I’ve been sitting in my studio making some tropical jewellery to brighten your day. Think parrots, flowers and butterflies!
Be mucking about with printed acrylic charms too and came up with a range of laser cut butterflies, aren’t they sweet?
It’s almost Norwich Makers Market again, and it’s going to be a great opportunity to showcase this tropical range, and to see all of the wonderful local indie retailers who sell everything from cupcakes to homeware! You should definately come along if you can make it, so watch out for all the updates here: facebook.com/PinPinFinds
So after fooling around for the last couple of weeks, it would only be polite to let you know whats going on!
Well, you’ll be happy to know we took part in Norwich Fashion Week’s Designer Show. Showcasing some of the coolest, most competitive talent from all over Norfolk- Poppy Valentine and Cocoon Fashion were just some of the names who showcase their work on the big stage.
Really was an amazing show, definitely one to look out for next year!
We took part in the after-show market, showcasing handmade designers from all across Norfolk and London.
Really enjoyed having an evening of excellent fashion and lots of making, and was a great way to test my market. We sold out and even left early, so it was a real success!
